Barry Goldman's grandfather introduced him to the art of roasting gourmet coffees when he was just a little boy. His grandfather, David Rudman, immigrated from Russia to the United States in the early 1900s,bringing his antique coffee roaster with him. He settled in New York City where his grandson Barry grew up. David Rudman often took Barry to the New York Seaport to buy exotic coffee beans to roast and see the ships arriving. In 1968 Barry started a company in Worcester, MA called Good As Gold Coffee and brought his father and brother into the business. In the 1980's Barry moved to Boston and started Coffee Coffee which later became Coffee Roasters International. Today, all our coffees are roasted fresh daily at our 235 Salem Street Woburn, MA location. Coffee Roasters International selects the finest quality coffee beans from all over the world and roasts them to perfection. These ESTATE coffees come from some of the best plantations and small farms. Farmers and growers send samples of their best beans weekly to Coffee Roasters International and only the best of the best are selected and used. If you love coffee you will love ours. All coffees are roasted to order and roasted in small batches fresh every day. |
